Our Safer Community website has new functionality

Responding to user requests, Our Safer Community has substantially redesigned its web presence. The new website features easier access to information, forums, blogs, online calendars, and social bookmarking.

Among the major changes:

• the ability to comment on news and technique articles, as well as commenting on blog posts;
  
• separate forums for course participants, donors, and volunteers, as well as the general forum for visitors;
  
• access control for members to prevent spam and provide a forum of colleagues for sharing experiences and techniques;
  
• RSS feeds and social bookmarking links for posts; and
  
• permanent links for articles and posts.
