Pre-Renewal Course

Course Description

Developed for those who have taken the Pre- or Post-CHL course, these classes re-familiarize licensees with the concepts they learned earlier, as well as covering newer developments in carry and use of firearms. The program is shorter, with more emphasis on scenarios and discussion than on range time. Ongoing seminars and Pre-Renewal training provide critical sustainment training for participants.

What You Will Learn

Participants are re-familiarized with principles of non-verbal communication and conflict resolution, situation awareness, gun safety at home, dry-fire and live-fire practice, and how to carry a gun safely and unobtrusively. Participants learn methods for handling multiple simultaneous threats, working from different shooting positions, practical home defense, and advanced conflict resolution methods.
